Please plan to join us for the August 20 luncheon at the Doubletree Hotel. We are scheduled for the Sacramento Room. There were rave reviews for the facility from the July lunch, so you will not want to miss this event. We’ll be taking a look at HSAs and HDPs and one (1) CE credit will apply.

Don’t forget to select your lunch menu when you send in your reservation. Payment is required with the reservation.

Starting in July, the SAHU lunch will now be held at the Doubletree Hotel, just off the Arden off ramp of I-80. Just for the months of July and October, the lunch will be held on a different day. All other months, the lunch will be held the third Wednesday of the month as usual.

The July lunch will be held on THURSDAY, JULY 10 so please make a note of that. There is a slight price increase to $22. You will now be given a choice at each lunch of an entrée or a salad. All lunches include a beverage and dessert. This will be a served lunch and you will be given a ticket at the registration table that identifies your lunch choice so be sure to indicate it on the reservation flyer.

On Tuesday May 20th, many CAHU members will be coming to our town to meet with elected officials at the State Capitol between 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
If you have not yet registered, please do so immediately by registering on-line at www.cahu.org.

There will be no luncheons in May and June due to the golf tournament on May 12 and the CE Day on June 12. The next luncheon will be Thursday, July 10 at the Doubletree Hotel. Registration information will be provided by the first of June.

The SAHU Spring CE Day is scheduled for June 12. Sponsorships and registration is now available. Please get your registration in early because this event has sold out the last 4 times.

Plans are under way for the 2008 SAHU crab feed. Sponsorships and tickets for admission are now available and attached to this email. Last year the sponsorships sold out quickly so be sure to get your spot secured. Payment and the completed flyer is required.

SAHU has partnered with the two premier public radio stations in the region, KXJZ and KXPR to provide members with a unique radio opportunity.

Each SAHU member is invited to support SAHU and receive individual or company “underwriting credits” on KXJZ and/or KXPR.

SAHU’s program co-chairs, Melissa Hartbower and Peggy Hall, have cooked up a very special program for the December Christmas lunch.

Put aside all the legislative wrangling that continues to dog the industry. Set aside those enrollment duties. Come and join your colleagues, new and longstanding, and just have fun.

The River Oaks Center for Children is accepting gifts for all ages, so bring them with you to the lunch.

The TLC Giving Tree Mitten gifts need to be completed by November 30 so stay tuned for pick up and delivery information in a separate email.

Once again SAHU is hosting ALL registrants for the December lunch at the MEMBER rate. Join us for a great time of celebration, socializing and giving to the seniors from the TLC tree and to the children of River Oak Center for Children. Bring your gifts with you and we’ll take care of the rest.

Santa will be back this year for that special photo. Raffle prizes will abound (contributions can be brought to the lunch).

The SAHU CE Day has had a rush of registrations in the last week so space is closing up. This is your last official notice to register for the November 6 CE Day. If you have already registered there is no need to reply again. If you haven’t paid yet, you need to get your payment in ASAP to hold your spot.

Registration and continental breakfast start at 7:30 AM. The first course starts at 8:00 sharp. Booth sponsors need to be set up and ready to greet attendees by 7:30 AM. You can get access to the room at 6:30 AM. Check in at the registration table before entering the room.
