The November CE Day will be held 11/13/2008 at the Doubletree Hotel – the same new location where SAHU is now holding monthly luncheons. Steven Smith is chairing the event this year and he is in the process of securing an excellent speaker line up.
This is your first opportunity to secure a spot and to sponsor. All the SAHU corporate sponsors are entitled to booth space, and with a record number of corporate sponsors this year, over half the exhibit space will be taken. So if your agency wants to be a contributing sponsor, be sure to sign up early because the space will sell out.

This year SAHU has a phenomenal crab feed committee chaired by Peggy Hall and they are already hard at work for the February 20, 2009 event. Lot’s of new features to the event, like:

SAHU has partnered with the two premier public radio stations in the region, KXJZ and KXPR to provide members with a unique radio opportunity.

Each SAHU member is invited to support SAHU and receive individual or company “underwriting credits” on KXJZ and/or KXPR.

The radio spot reads as follows:

We get support from the Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters. A trade association of health insurance agents, brokers and employee benefits specialists helping individuals and employers obtain health coverage. [INSERT YOUR COMPANY NAME], an active SAHU member. More and member listings at sacbenefits-dot-org.

In addition to the radio spots each member is eligible to receive the following:

• Full color postcards customized with their company information
• Link to member website from the SAHU website
• Marketing letters for prospects/clients highlighting SAHU affiliation

All SAHU members are eligible and can purchase spots for $100.00 each and receive additional benefits at no additional cost.
